I recently completed my Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Oregon, where I hold a courtesy research associate appointment.

I specialize in 19th century German philosophy and the philosophy of biology. I also have research and teaching expertise in the history of philosophy, the history of biology, ethics, and social and political philosophy.
